UMS Tops The Charts of November 2010

Albums mastered at Universal Mastering - NY has taken over the Billboard Charts.

Including one of the highest selling albums, Susan Boyle's  "The Gift" which is the "No. 1 album in the United States and the U.K. simultaneously for the second time in a year - a feat not achieved for more than 40 years."

Metallica Masters @ UMS-NY

If you haven’t heard already, in the last 2 months Metallica has released numerous live albums + DVDs of concerts from around the world. All were mastered by Vlado Meller, with the help of his assistant Mark Santangelo, at Universal Mastering – New York.  After countless hours in the studio, Vlado and Mark were able to produce a sound that will bring the listener right there in the crowd of the show.

KID ROCKS Universal Mastering NY

Kid Rock's highly anticipated new album, mastered by Vlado Meller, "Born Free" comes out this Tuesday, November 16. This album was produced by, the one and only, Rick Rubin.

UMS-NY Takes Over European Charts...AGAIN!

Bon Jovi's "Greatest Hits" album, mastered by Kevin Reeves, has debuted at No. 1 on the European charts. This is the second time, within the last couple of months, that one of Kevin's albums has hit No. 1 (first being Phil Collins - "Going Back").

Vlado Masters His 6th Kermit Ruffins Album

 

If you haven't already done so, make sure to pick up the new album "Happy Talk" from jazz great Kermit Ruffins!  Yet another outstanding release from the New Orleans trumpet master.

"Happy Talk" is the 6th album that Vlado has mastered for Kermit, producer Tracey Freeman, and the good folks at Basin Street Records (one of THE best jazz labels around).

For any Jazz fanatic, this is definitely a must buy.

Bon Jovi Brings Their Hits To Be Mastered By Kevin Reeves

Bon Jovi releases their hits compilation TODAY. Kevin remastered Jovi's chart-topping singles from "Living On A Prayer" and "It's My Life" to four brand new songs; including their new single "What Do You Got." Their greatest hits will be released as a single/double disc set and will also be available on vinyl.

Michael Jackson & UMS-NY

Vlado Meller has been given the privilege to master this year's most anticipated album at UMS-NY. On Thursday, Nov 4th, Sony announced that they will be releasing the album entitled "Michael" which will be comprised of all NEW music by Michael Jackson. Vlado has been working hard mastering the album and so far it seems like every song will be an instant hit.

Kid Cudi Returns to Universal Mastering - New York

Vlado Meller, with the help of his assistant Mark Santangelo, mastered Kid Cudi's sophomore album "Man On The Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager" which drops tomorrow, Nov 9. Vlado and Mark spent many hours perfecting Cudi's album with the help of Cudi's right hand man/producer, Plain Pat. This album is everything that Cudi's fans have been waiting for and should top the charts.
